In this Privacy Policy, "us", ";we", or "our"; means Tipperoo Tip and Pay Pty Ltd. We are committed to respecting your privacy. Our Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, use, store and disclose your Personal Information.

  • Information provided when you sign up to Tipperoo via the Tipperoo app, which includes:​​

    1. Your 'display name'​, which can be any name or phrase of your choice and will be public to people you interact with when you use Tipperoo;

    2. Your legal name and date of birth;

    3. Images of your identification documents, either passport, driver's license, or Medicare card;

    4. Your email address, mobile phone number, and residential address;

    5. If applicable, the ABN or ACN of your company;

    6. If applicable, information about your business, shareholders, directors, and business executives;

    7. Bank account or debit card details, and credit card details;

    8. Information about your devices used to access our services, such as brand, model, operating system, browser version, IP address, and other connection information.

  • Information provided by you via web forms, such as 'Contact Us' forms, service requests, customer service calls, or forms used during advertising campaigns or programs; 

  • Information provided when registering for events;

  • Information provided when interacting with Tipperoo social media accounts and pages;

  • Information collected from transactions and interactions involving you on the Tipperoo platform.

  • Verify your identity;

  • Enroll you into the linked services such as Stripe to enable payments and money transfers to your bank accounts;​

  • Comply with any regulatory obligations, such as KYC and anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing;

  • Monitor service levels of the Tipperoo platform;

  • Enable us to improve our company operations, financing, services, and user experience;

  • Get in touch with you to inform you about changes, improvements, and new services we offer via the Tipperoo platform or via our partners or affiliated services;

  • Comply with our legal obligations, resolve any disputes that we may have with any of other users, and enforce our agreements with third parties.

Who will be given access to your personal information​

We do not sell or rent personal data to marketers or unaffiliated third parties. We share your Personal Data with trusted entities, as outlined below:

  1. Employees of Tipperoo Tip and Pay Pty Ltd;

  2. Stripe Payments Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 66 160 180 343), (Stripe Privacy Policy);

  3. Third-party suppliers and service providers;

  4. Anyone to whom our assets or business is transferred;

  5. Specific third parties you authorised us to receive information held by us; and/or

  6. Government agencies, law enforcement, or regulatory bodies, in case we are required, authorised, or permitted by law.

We will not disclose your personal information to any other party or organisation unless one or more of the following reasons apply: 
 

  • You have given us consent to do so;

  • If necessary for the operation of our service, to our trusted partners such as Stripe;
